Duana Malone aka “The Tech Queen” (Founder of Tech Queen Elite Training Institute) and Project Director for the Nevada Help Desk project is an International Operations and Technology Consultant, Computer Programmer, Website Designer & App Developer with more than 30 years experience.
Duana was recently awarded “Technology Woman of the Year” by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) & The Vegas Community Tech Fund. Duana offers expertise in customer relationship management & systems automation (certified in Lean Six Sigma) and has executive leadership experience with top Fortune companies. Duana currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Aldelano Solar Chain Solutions (solarcoldbox.com), a global leader in robust “off the grid” solutions for commercial use. Prior to starting her own business in 1998, Duana worked for private, public and government sectors. Duana was appointed to the Governor’s STEM Council in February, 2020 and serves on other various local, state & national boards and councils to help create and expand initiatives in STEM Education and job growth. Each year, The Tech Queen hosts, sponsors and participates in after-school technology classes for Clark County School District students and the Congressional APP Challenge. Duana is co-leading the effort in a partnership with Microsoft to ensure every student, especially in Title I school districts, are equipped to compete with today’s world filled with rapidly growing technological advances. Duana has traveled extensively around the world to many nations on mission trips as an ordained Youth Pastor with B.O.S.S. The Movement as well as for business. She along with her ministry and technology partners has helped many startups by training on how to birth dreams, visions and idea into reality! On a personal note, Duana caregives for her mom after also previously providing care for over a decade to her father and husband who recently passed away from chronic illnesses.
